1964 Ford Fairlane Restomod Project w/Art Morrison Chassis
Description
This 64 Ford Fairlane is well on its way to becoming a very nice restomod. The body is completely rust free with no need for any replacement panels. The car came from California, was media blasted down to bare metal and then sealed. The car was then mated to the Art Morrison Max G Chassis and a totally new firewall, floor, wheel tubs, driveshaft tunnel and trunk floor was fabricated and installed.
The Chassis is complete with:9" ford rearend, housing Strange Engineering S/S street axles and tru-trac with 4:11 gear ratioRear suspension is a 3-link with Strange Engineering dual adjustable coil over shocksRear brakes are 13" Wilwood slotted rotors with Wilwood 4 piston superlite calipersRear Sway barFront suspension is Art Morrison's Sport IFS with Wilwood Pro Spindles and Strange Engineering dual adjustable coil over shocksFront brakes are 13" Wilwood slotted rotors with Wilwood 6 piston superlite calipersPower rack and pinionFront Sway barTotal Chassis cost was just over $18,500 with no expense spared on any component
The car comes with almost all of the exterior parts and trim, all glass, and dash components, including many spare parts (2 extra trunk lids, 2 extra hoods, 1 extra left front fender, 1 extra left passenger door). I have acquired several NOS parts along the way for use on the car as well. The car did not have interior seats or panels, but I have all of the door handles and window cranks. I also have spare interior parts from other parts cars that I have accumulated.
Please note that the car is for sale on other sites. If sold on one of those sites, I will close this add.
