Description

Background info (I gathered from the previous owners):This is one of the 1966 mustangs that Coca-Cola ordered for its fleet new. It sat in the Saint Louis Missouri Coca-Cola distribution warehouse for over thirty years. It was bought by a member of my family and they redid the paint and used it as a weekend driver for several years. The car had around 30k miles on it when they bought it. I bought it when I saw it was for sale several years ago and drove it very little.
Basic info: The car has been drove very little since I bought it. It starts and runs great. Real easy to start, actually (even though the choke does not appear to be connected properly). If the car has been sitting for over a week or two it will require a prime, but that is expected. The paint job was an old-school "show type" paint job, which means it had a very thick coat of paint put on it. This gives it a nice shine, but it also means it will crack with time (explained to me by a local paint shop). It does have a few of the cracking areas, that you can see when you get close and inspect it. The wheels are chrome, but they are showing some rust. The tires have a lot of tread on them, but they are several years old. I put the tires on it (I think 4-5 years ago) The interior is original and in great shape. The engine compartment has a lot of the original stickers and features that are often missing on these cars (it even has the washer fluid bag).
I sold my house this summer and it is currently being stored on our family farm. I never drove it much and will no longer have the time or space to enjoy it. I am selling it as is (see pics) and there is no warranty/ guarantee with the car.
The good:It only has 70,738 ORIGINAL miles on it.I had the whole brake system replaced right after I bought it (from master cylinder back; lines, drums, etc).Has a new rubber shifter boot in the glove box & the trunk liner appears to be newly replaced (or in great shape if its original)It has new plugs and wires.
The not so good:It does likely need the paint job touched up (cracking- see pics), new tires (they are aged), and some small issues would need to be tinkered with to use it as a daily driver.
