Description

INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8O3EIGHT WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. Pictures do not come close to doing this justice but please click on the YouTube walk around video above to get an idea. Simply put, this is easily the nicest Mustang that I have ever had and I have had a bunch. It is a beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback that is ready to drive and show the day that you get it. Fastback prices have been at a premium lately and this is one of the nicest you will find anywhere for the money. It has been nicely restored and it shows. The paint and body are excellent. There is no rust anywhere on this car. The Mustang is very straight. The floorboards are in beautiful condition. The red paint has an excellent finish. The chrome and stainless are in excellent condition. If you have been searching for a Fastback and are tired of looking at overpriced junk, you will fall in love with this one.
The Mustang has been completely gone through mechanically. The engine is an all new and very healthy 289 V-8 with a four barrel. It is an original C-code car. The C-4 automatic transmission was also completely rebuilt. The rearend was rebuilt as well. New suspension, new steering box, all new brakes. I have two big folders of receipts for all of the work that has been performed. The car is nicely optioned with power steering, power front disc brakes, and ICE COLD Vintage Air Conditioning. I would not hesitate to fly in to San Diego, spend a couple days in the sun at the beach, and drive it home. It cruises comfortably out on the freeway. We took it out tonight and it ran beautifully at 90 MPH with the AC blasting. It does not get hot. It has a new aluminum radiator and electric fan to make sure it stays nice and cool even in Southern California traffic.Magnum 500 wheels with good tires. The suspension and brakes are excellent. The engine compartment itself is extremely clean and nicely detailed. The car sounds great and has a nice dual exhaust.
The Saddle interior is excellent. The color goes great with the red paint and Gold C-stripe. It really sets it off from most other Mustangs that have black interiors. The seats, door panels, headliner, dashpad, carpet, gauges, steering wheel, etc. are all very nice. Replacement Mustang AM/FM cassette player but the dash has not been cut. I could go on for hours about this Mustang but it really comes down to the fact that it is just an extremely nice car. That being said, it is not an MCA 1000 point, Concours restored, undriven example either. It has minor flaws. Please be realistic with your expectations. I have an opportunity to buy a Survivor 1967 Shelby GT500. Otherwise, this one would not be going anywhere.I think you could look for years to find another example of this quality for the money. You could not come close to building this car for what you can buy it for today. It will sell this first time advertised. Clean, clear CA title in hand. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Fly in and hang out in the Pacific Ocean and take your dream Road Trip home. Inspections in person are encouraged. Thanks and good luck!
