Luxury Ford Station Wagon, black exterior, red leather interior and the optional 460 V8 engine makes this an amazing car back when it was new, and now it is a piece of history. Documents from 1984 to present 2019.

History: Bought new in Tacoma Washington by Gordon Jones, he drove it till November 1984 when he sold it to John Case (81k miles). The Case family used it as their family car until 1992 when John parked it in his building where he stored several other cars. The car stayed in his dry car warehouse resting for 27 years. I purchased the car and in 2019 began the processes of bringing it back to roadworthy condition. I've put new tires on it and had it extensively worked on, and have been enjoying it this summer.

Engine & Transmission: The 7.5-liter 460-cubic-inch V8 big block very desirable option engine and is how it was shipped from the factory. The car was completely gone through by local shop here in Portland Oregon. The car enjoys cruising and the engine pulls smooth. The mechanics are very well sorted. The underside of this car is extremely dry. This is a great example that is ready to drive and enjoy.

Body: This rust free car is extremely solid. The body is in good condition but needs the wood paneling replaced to be a show car. The car has a dent on the front driver fender (see photos). I have not restored the body I just focused on the mechanics. It's extremely original and a great candidate to take the cosmetics to next level. Excellent gaps, all glass is in great shape with no chips or cracks in them. The paint presents well and shows the great lines of the car. It comes with jack tools and spare tire. John Case owned a limousine business and had lots of Lincolns in his fleet so this car received a Lincoln hood ornament and Lincoln rims.

Interior: The red leather interior is in nice condition. There is one small tear on the driver seat bottom and two cracks in the dash (see photos). The door skins are nice. The rear facing seats are as new. The spare tire cover has some wear. The headliner is great with no rips or blemishes. The carpet is nice and has one rip on the front passenger side. All the dash dials and controls look great. I never get tired of driving this top-of-the-line flagship.

Summary: This is a solid example of a classic American station wagon. The introduction of the minivan started to take over as the family car and SUV's finished off the existence of the American station wagon. Many of them were used in destruction derbies and they eventually went extinct. This car has been sitting in a dry warehouse for 27 years, no mouse infestation, just waiting to be brought back out into the world, a piece of history.
