1954 Ford F-100 "Street Rod"--"440 cu. in. MOPAR"

Description

This is a NICE 1954 Ford F-100!! It was actually built approximately 20 yearsago, so it does have some imperfections! But, overall it is in very good condition!It runs great!!This truck has a 440 cu. in. Mopar engine, 727 Mopar transmission, 273Mopar 8-3/4 rearend! It has a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro front subframe, so ithas disc brakes on the front and power steering. Rear brakes are drum brakes. It still has manual brakes, but the master cylinder has been changed to a double bowl. The remainder of the frame is the original Ford frame and has been boxed. It has a newer front gas tank with a skid plate, (original location) which I put in approximately 2-3 years ago and also has a tank located under the bed floor, which holds approximately 17 gallons. There is a rocker switch to control which tank you use. The truck has dual exhaust with FLOWMASTERS and sounds great!! The tires are like-new with only afew thousand miles on them.It is a 1954, but it does have a '56 grill! It is an all steel body, except for the rear fenders. They are fiberglass "fat" fenders, which are 3" wider than the original fenders. Overall, the body is in great shape, but there are a few rust bubbles. The doors shut great, as I replaced the latches, a couple of years ago.I also put new mirrors on the doors, about the same time. All of the windows are fine, no cracks! However, the windshield does have a couple wiper scratches. The wood in the bed is fine, as are the metal strips.The interior looks good and is very nice, but not perfect.I also, had the seat completely reupholstered, approximately 2-3 years ago.The truck also has power windows.
