1940 Ford V8 Business Coupe barn find
Description
This car has sat under cover since the early 80s. It seems to be all there and in remarkably condition considering its age. It has sat under cover in a carport since ut last ran. The original owners now in their 90s sold the car to a buyer. That person sold the car to its current owner. No title. There are bills of sale only as dmv was a deadend. The car was just to old for any records to exist and I had to put something in the title description. I will let the pictures tell the story. Beyond that. The car rolls and the engine rotates. Steering, water pumps and other things seem froze. I believe with some time, money and effort I could get it to run. The wiring is badly deteriorated. Just assume nothing works. I cant get more honest than that. The floorboards seem solid other than an area under rear windows abd far rear trunk area. See pics. There is pitting in the frame in areas and running boards not seen in pics. Possible restoration or great hot rod/pro touring candidate. I am selling this vehicle for a friend. All money transactions will be made through him other than a $500.00 due at end of auction. His personal information will be given to the auction winner. The car is for sale locally and will be taken to a swap meet next week. We reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if a bid is not made. Buyer responsible for transport or local pickup. Any questions or additional photos please ask. I will do my best. Good luck and thanks for looking.
