Description

1940 Ford Business Coupe. Real Deal 50's/60's custom hot rod. 50's era lead work to shave the cowl vent, radio antenna, door handles, side and hood mouldings. Hood and trunk latches were removed and smoothed with bondo (removed).

Paint has been removed to expose body condition. Overall, the body is excellent, without any significant dents. Metal is thick and has not been thinned out by corrosion or grinding. There is some minor rust in the lower quarters and raingutters and where gutters and where gutters meet trunklid.

Car is set-up for small block Chevy and transmission (no motor or transmission included). Firewall and floors are custom hotrod fabrications from late 50's/early 60's. Frame is boxed. Has chrome suspension. Early 60's GM independent front suspension with disc brakes. 1957 Chevy positraction axle in rear.

Have all garnish moulding, headlight buckets, taillights (new). Grille is missing fins at top. Have original glass and regulators - some is cracked. No steering column. Has Vega steering box mounted to frame.No interior. Have some dash trim, handles and parts. No radio.
