Up for sale is a well builtMildCustom 1949 Ford Convertible Street Rod. (One very nice car) A frame off restoration was completed byaccomplish car builder, to a nice dry Arizona car in 2012.Any minor rustwas replaced with new panels by skilled medal worker to perfection. (Very Nice Work) All body panel fits are very nice and it has Frenched head lights and tail lights.The Car also hasshaved doorswithelectric remote poppers. Paint is - Base coat / Cleat coat -4layers each, patterned off 2003 Corvette.Under body and inside body sprayed with 3 - coats of lizard skin in and out, plus 2 coats of ceramic heat reducer withsound mating under carpeting. (Nice Quiet Ride) Frame prepped and thensprayed with epoxy primer, then painted.All new stainless trim wasadded as was a new chrome grill. Glass was replaced with tinted and a V-but windshieldwith out center strip gives the car a more modern look. It is running a Fatman / Mustang II front end with disk brakes up front and a 1992 Ford Explorer 8.8 diff. with 3.73 gears was narrowed to fit the car at the rear (Nice Driver)A 1996 Crown Vicky with only 50K miles on the car donated the4.6 V8 engine with fuel injection anda police computer module was installed, witch added 50 HP - from 280 HP to 330 HP & open speed computer control.The Crown Vicky's 4-speed overdrive transmission, adds to the performance and makes a great power & cruiser combination. (Nice Runner) The interior is a custom job installed in 2013 by well known "Mattoon's Upholstery".A new tan top was also fitted by Mattoon's. (Interior Is very Cool)The car has Air Conditioning with aretro under dash unit for the look and good Heater to keep you warm in the winter. A IDIDIT tilt column was used as was a set of Classic Industries Digital gages and a custom Concord Steering wheel is a tops the column.A new style, ClassicStereo with blue tooth finishes off the nice interior. The car has had about 8000 pampered mile put on it from finish and always garaged.Fit and finish are very nice and thisconvertible is aGreat runner - driver and head turner.
