Description

Here is a rare one!
Selling because I'm the last in line, none of the younger family is interested in being the next caregiver.
This truck has been owned by the same family since new.Between uncles, brothers, and cousins, has never been offered outside the original owners family.68,XXX original miles, because of countless moves, divorces, deaths, and feuds, no documentation has survived the family drama, but this truck has!I found a small rust area in corner of drivers door,(see pic) also, as normal, but very minor rust along outer horizontal bed seam. Repaint about 20 odd years ago. No stories of any wrecks or major damage, just a few dings here and there. Inside bed exceptional.
Aluminum tool box included.
Two wheel drive,3/4 ton camper special, has a long bed, auto trans, power disc brakes, and power steering! Can be driven by anyone, daily.Low gear does take a sec or two to pressure up from a stop, but does not effect driving once moving, and not an issue in reverse or any other gear.
Truck has always been well maintained, and is road ready. I would not hesitate driving home any distance. But, for some reason it does have a slight shimmy above 65 MPH. Previous owner (my cousin) had alignment checked and tires are fairly new. Several Ford owners I asked did say this was not uncommon, but no one had any suggestions. Family memory believes truck has always lived in Arkansas, and used just locally, hence the low mileage. Never worked or driven hard. Second fuel tank has had a leak for years, so we don't use it, other tank behind seat works fine.
Seat has been recovered, and dash has a new vinyl pad cover. Truck has had covered parking for most of the last two decades. please note, no radio, but hole doesn't looked butchered.
Wheels were replaced with NON split rims years ago. The spare is still an original split rim, and the tire looks old enough to be original also?
My cousin had the heater core repaired a few years ago, but another leaked developed shortly after. He thinks maybe a hose or hidden connection? So he just by-passed.
