Description

The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was originally based on the platform of the second generation North American Ford Falcon, a compact car. The original 1962 Ford Mustang I two-seater concept car had evolved into the 1963 Mustang II four-seater concept car which Ford used to pretest how the public would take interest in the first production Mustang. The 1963 Mustang II concept car was designed with a variation of the production model's front and... rear ends with a roof that was 2.7 inches shorter. Introduced early on April 17, 1964 (16 days after the Plymouth Barracuda), and thus dubbed as a "1964½" by Mustang fans, the 1965 Mustang was the automaker's most successful launch since the Model A. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this stunning, beautifully restored 1970 Ford Mustang Resto-mod for your consideration. The car was completed in 2017 and has less than 900 miles on it. The car has a great stance and a gorgeous body finished in Acapulco Blue that is straight and shiny. This car has the looks of a Boss 429 for a fraction of the cost. The body and undercarriage were completely media blasted. The car has new mirrors, spoiler, louvers, bumpers, handles, Boss 429 hood scoop and custom billet grille. All the bulbs are LED and new. The custom painted instrument panel is from Mustangs to Fear with Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultralite gauges with blue LED illumination. The dash pad is free of any cracks or imperfections. It has a new retro look radio, Vintage AC controls, teak steering wheel with tilt steering column. The seat upholstery is new in the front and rear with original frames. The carpet and floor mats are new as well along with new seat belts. The center console is removable. The deluxe door panels are now with new hardware and new inserts. The brand new headliner is from Mustangs to Fear along with sun visors and hardware. The car has a brand new Painless Performance wiring harness. The well built 429 v8 big block is equipped with Ford Performance Super Cobra Jet aluminum heads, Ford Performance intake manifold, mild cam, Quick Fuel Technologies carburetor, DEI titanium wrapped long tube headers, new distributor, aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. The new drive shaft is mated to a performance C6 automatic transmission along with a 9 inch rear end with Currie 9 Plus axles. It also has a new 2.5 inch exhaust with Summit electronic exhaust cutouts that me it sound beastly with just a touch of a button. Because of the big block 429, the front end was professionally re-engineered and reinforced after removing the factory shock towers and adding coil over suspension with all new components, arms, sway bar and bushings. The car has front and rear disc brakes with red painted calipers with Wilwood in the front. It has factory style power steering with braided lines, chrome pump and separate aftermarket reservoir. The car rides on Foose Knuckle chrome wheels with 17x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear with low profile tires in very good shape. The rear suspension is factory leafs with lowering spacers with new KYB Gas-A-Just shocks along with custom 2 inch welded sub frame connectors.
