1968 Ford Mustang 326 Miles Deep Impact Blue Coupe 351 Windsor C-4 3-Spd Auto
Description
STK 2675 1968 Ford Mustang
The Gen2 Mustang (beginning with the 1967 model) was the first redesign of the original Mustang concept. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased and exterior trim changes included concave taillights and side scoops. This restored 1968 Mustang has experienced significant upgrades to the factory configuration. Under the hood, a strong running 351ci Cleveland was completely rebuilt by Poteat's Engines of Kannapolis, NC. The Cleveland is fitted with a single plane hi-rise intake, Holley carb, performance heads, tube headers and Erson TQ-30H cam with .496 lift/310 duration. (A detailed Poteat's build sheet is included with the car.) Behind the 351 is a 3-speed C-4 automatic transmission and Ford 8.8" differential with 4.10:1 gearing. The body was repainted a deep Blue in 2016. It is accented by white stripping and 'Shelby-inspired' 10-spoke 16" alloy wheels with new 60-series radial tires. The interior was also recently restored in black vinyl and the dash holds a full compliment of gauges. Suspension enhancements and traction bars provide a nice '60s stance and period-correct look. The Mustang is equipped with manual steering and manual 4-wheel disc brakes w/dual master cylinder. This great running Mustang will provide some serious performance moments, or just look good in your driveway. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
