Description

I am selling my beautiful 1965 Mustang K-Code Coupe (Non - GT). This car is the real deal original K-Code sporting it's original drive-train including engine, 4 speed transmission and rear end. This car was restored in the late nineties and still shows very well. The body is also all original except for the inner fenders as they were replaced due to cut-outs made in them to lube suspension fittings back in the day but the repairs were professionally and correctly done. The interior is in mint condition and still contains it's original working Rally Pac and AM/FM slide bar radio. I installed a reproduction Deluxe Woodgrain Steering wheel but the original vinyl wheel is included. The car also has a reproduction Arvinode exhaust system installed and sounds very raspy in a nice way! Reproduction Styled Steel Rims w / dual red-band modern radial tires (5) are also installed. The car drives strong and handles very well. It is currently on the road being enjoyed! The car has an Autolite clone carburetor (W/proper tags)and an incorrect Fuel pump installed. I do have an extremely rare original Autolite C4OF-AL carburetor and Carter 3939-S Hipo dual spring fuel pump available separately if interested. These items are NOT included in this auction but the new owner has first shot at purchasing them both. The paint is a solid 8 out of 10 with just a couple of minor blems showing. As mentioned, the only mechanical issues are the clutch pedal not returning all the way and the alternator light pops on sporadically but the car always starts. I just replaced the battery and installed one of those Autolite battery covers to keep the correct look under the hood. The valve covers are original over the counter Cobra versions and not the proper chromed versions which all K - Codes received. I am available at 716 628-1288 to answer any questions. The only reason for selling is to purchase a 1967 Shelby GT350. Thanks for reading - David
