Ford Fairlane 1969 500
Description
I'm selling this beautiful 1969 Ford Fairlane fastback for a friend. He has had the car for ten years and finally decided to sell. It is a very nice restoration. Runs and drives great. Air blows cold. The only thing not working are the turn signals which do not cancel.
According to my friend, the Ford Fairlane came out of Arizona with no rust on the body so it has all the original sheet metal. The body was taken down to bare metal then primed and painted. The interior is new with the correct door side panels for the Fairlane along with the seat fabric and headliner. The photos show the detail to the engine compartment, motor, and undercarriage. The restoration was done by Material Possessions, a restoration shop that is highly respected in the Treasure Valley. It has power steering, drum brakes and air conditioning. The 351 Winsor was rebuilt along with the c-4 automatic transmission. The intake manifold, carb, valve covers and the air conditioner compressor are after market. The originals will go with the car including the air cleaner. This was a restoration where all the appropriate parts were replaced or rebuilt. The car does still have the original bumpers on it. It drives like a dream and gets a lot of attention when out cruising.
