!994 Ford Mustang GT 30th Anniversary Boss Shinoda
Description
**!ATTENTION Wheeler/Dealers This would be an awesome car for Ant to bring back to full potential!**
Here is an unusual Mustang for your consideration. You'll probably not see another one. Nice looking. It's a Tribute to the Boss Shinoda Mustang that came out in 1994 & 1995. They came in Yellow or Orange, Hardtop or Convertible. Although this is not a True Boss Shinoda (I believe they had a metal badge on the dash), it has all the required decals, and is a True Yellow car (looked up the cowl tag numbers). I registered it with the Yellow Mustang Registry. You can see the sticker on the front bumper in the pics. (I think the Membership is transferable, don't quote me on that.)
I put a bunch of money into this when I first got it, as you can see in a pic of the repairs I had done. (Done 9/26/17). There are still a few things not the best, but it does run good, and has some gumption left.
The not the greatest: Trans shifts irregularly. Not slipping, per se, but doesn't seem to shift when it's supposed to. The trans that came with car stopped going into Drive, so I had it replaced with what I thought was a rebuilt trans. Turned out it was a fresh off a used car junkyard one. (Other trans available [Extra $100], sitting on my garage floor.)Lights bing consistently when you turn them on, like if you left them on when you shut the car off.PS was leaking, so I filled it with StopLeak. It stopped leaking.
Odometer not working, stuck on 159955. Speedo off by about 5-10 MPH.
The wheels are slightly pitted (All 4). 20" wheels, Chrome.Engine light comes on after a few minutes, also ABS and Air Bag.A/C doesn't work well, but heat is OK.Radio fuzzy, drifts in and out.
Some minor dings and paint chips around car. I did Clay Bar entire car a couple years ago, so paint is nice and smooth.
Does have new tires on rear. The one in the Repair bill was put on 9/26/17, the other one was put on 1/18/18. I didn't realize the bigger size was put on the back, as I don't drive it too often, (they were supposed to put the same size tire on, but they ended up getting a bigger size unbeknownst to me, and didn't tell me) but finally saw it, liked the beefier look, and needed the other rear tire anyway, so got that done, which is why the big gap of 4 months. Front ones are older, not sure age, as they came with car when I bought it, but still have a good tread. Fronts are 245/35/ZR20, Rears are 245/45/ZR20. Gives it a nice stance.Has a new boot to cover convertible top, has a slight scuff that should be able to be buffed out.Convertible top does work, BUT you have to have the parking brake on for it to go up and down. No one told me that, and I thought it didn't work!
Windows are nice, tinted. Go up and down nicely.Whoever put the Hood Boss decal on, did it a touch askew. You notice it if you look directly at the body lines of the hood, but it looks good at first glance! Not off by much, but noticeable to all the nit pickers!I have a plastic sealed Owners Manual that comes with car.
It does run pretty well, I've had it scootin down the highway about 80's at times. Doesn't overheat. All lights work (driver front parking out, I just noticed). Aftermarket headlights. Might not pass an emissions test, but I have Classic Plates, so I don't have to worry about that!
I know I've probably missed some stuff. Send me questions if something's not covered here, I'll do my best to answer them. Don't drive too often, usually just to shows. I've bought and sold a lot of cars on e-Bay, I try to be as upfront and honest as I can. Rare, I know. I've gotten burned many times, don't want it to happen to someone else on this car. I want you to know what you're getting, which is why I listed the whole she-bang.
Car is located in Las Vegas. You can make a trip out of it, and drive it home! I will help with the shipper who comes for car, but the shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Absolutely no warranty is implied, expressed, or written. As is, where is. Gotta cover my butt.
Would like a $500 deposit at end of sale, balance either Certified Bank Check or cash in person.
With just a little work, this would be an awesome ride! Or drive as is. I bring it to shows, it gets some looks!
*Update*e-Bay sent me a message saying they took this listing off because they looked up the VIN and saw the title said Rebuilt. Well, lo and behold, when I looked at the title, sure enough, there it was! (See pic) Forgot that. I can't remember if it was a pain or not to register. I think it just goes like a regular transaction, just with Rebuilt on title. Don't know the history of car, so don't now why it's a Rebuilt Title. Body is nice, interior/carpets are nice, no odors. You can try to track history if you're so inclined, I'm too lazy!
