1979 Ford Econoline 4x4 Conversion

1979 Ford Econoline E-150 with 4x4.

Not much known about this van except that it has been modified to 4 wheel drive, with a huge Skyjacker lift (6-8 inches?) and a 460 cu 7.5 liter V8 with Holly carb. Unknown mileage.

Starts easy, runs and drives good, no smoke and doesn’t overheat. Flowmaster exhaust sounds great. Transmission seems to shift fine and fluid looks good. Brakes and alignment/steering seem good with no vibration. Power steering pump and hose have typical build up and may leak. Inside, steering wheel and column need some repair. Currently functional, just no tilt and currently sitting at an odd angle. Headlights only working on high beam, KC lights not working at all. Likely a simple wiring or fuse issue. Typical Ford rust in the typical Ford places, under doors, front quarters, floor on driver side, but frame and components look good. Doors need new seals and some adjustment. Terrible duct tape and spray can body work make it an ugly beast, but one with excellent potential. It’s totally ready to become your custom 4x4 covert camper or bug out rig!

Clear Colorado title. I will work with your shipper to get it loaded (should be easy) or I can pick you up from the airport/bus/train station if you are the adventurous type and want to drive it out. Keep in mind, it as a 40 year old vehicle and I make no warranties. It is being sold as-is, where-is.
