Maintained and babied since new. We want the right owner for the car and as a result are attempting to be as up front with the description as we can be. Divulging everything we know about the car so please read on for an honest description. We run an award winning exclusively foxbody shop, Horseplay Auto and know our way around them well so you’re not getting the description from some chump. This car has been a shop car and personal driver for many years and has served us well but it is not getting the use it once did and it is time to move on to other projects. We are more interested in building badass custom foxbodies than making an extra 500 bucks on a sale so you are getting everything we know about the car from the experts standpoint- it’s everything we know over the last five years.

This wagon was purchased from the original elderly owner in 2015. We wish we could have gotten his 67 Country Squire, he was a wagon kind of guy. The car came with a huge envelope of receipts for its maintenance which has been long lost. The 5.0 conversion was done using mostly Mustang parts and an 86 Mustang harness. The AOD is strong and will chirp second when you get it going well. We pretty much drive it like it’s Grandmas and take it to car shows, the upholstery shop and the home depot. Engine has been flawless since the day it was installed, always starts up, never seen a puff of smoke or any oil consumption and does not leak. Rearend is still the original 7.5 and the drums were redrilled for the five lug pattern. Fronts are on Mustang GT spindles and SVO brakes. Struts and shocks were replaced as part of the process. It runs straight and will cruise at 80 or more smoothly. The front rotors are a bit grabby and could use a turn to smooth them out. It has the usual stock foureyed brake pedal that hit halfway down the floor but still somehow slows it down.

The car was lowered with 94 Mustang Cobra convertible springs (yes it was a Pace car) They suit the car well and support the car well. We original job had cut stockers in it and it was an inch lower but beat you to death on the ride. It has air shocks in the rear so you can throw 12 bags of concrete in it and still not rub if you jack it up (tested and proven baby!)

Exterior paint is to my belief original paint on the top and a darker color resprayed on the lower portion. You can see where it was over buffed in some spots. The orange pinstripe was installed by us over some remnants of poorly placed red pinstripe before we got the car- if its orange we did it. The hood ornament is from a similar year Crown Vic purely because a wagon should have one. Compass on the dash was installed by the original owner. The bottle cap on the dash is magnetic and covers a small blemish (maybe glue) on the top, other than that the pad has no cracks. Bumper sticker pre-dates the car by 2 years but covers two holes from a trailer hitch. As for politics, you can change it to Clinton if you want, they are readily available here on EBay. Factory gauge cluster works but have added an oil pressure and temp gauge on the lower edges of each side of the dash that are manual. We like to see the real deal not idiot lights, they are tucked away but easy to see when driving.

Interior is absolutely 100 percent original with the exception of the changed (not cut single DIN) stereo and the steering wheel which is from an 86 GT, we have the sticky woodgrain original if you want it. Drivers side of the seat is clean but is a bit broken down from years of being sat on, still very nice to ride in. Car is equipped with a bench seat and fold down armrest in the center so if you want you can get your girl up close. Windows are manual. Left rear door does not open and we never went after it. Headliner is sagging but all intact, both dome lights even work. Rear quarter trim speaker grilles are missing. We wired an amp up in the left rear hatch compartment and all the wiring is still there but the amp took a shit. Column shift has been converted to the AOD and works to go to drive and overdrive but will not go into first. We never saw the need to adjust it.

Aaaand the body. Roof and roof rails are clean, left front fender has a dimple in the bottom you don’t see, probably from a tire blowout as the fender liner is also missing. The bottom of the hatch has saveable rust, it is the golden piece on wagons. The bottom of two doors are a bit rusty but not past saving and one door has never been opened but shows no issues on the outside. The right rear has a blister under the back window which you can see in the pictures and the car is getting water in the passenger side of the cowl. The computer has been zip tied under the dash to remedy this situation for now. A pillars are clean, frame rails are clean and the car shows no signs of ever being in an accident. Floors are clean with the exception of a spot under the heater box area on the right side which is also in the pictures. If you keep it indoors it obviously stays dry and has only exhibited issues during our South Florida summer 3 inches of rain in an hour “monsoons”.

You can drive this car home wherever you are and it is guaranteed to jerk eyeballs anywhere it goes. Rock the original patina or go all out and build it to your specs, with a little love it can be even more amazing. We have more pics top and bottom than we can put on EBay and the car is available if you would like to see it pretty much anytime in Jupiter Florida (near West Palm Beach). Contact us through EBay or at (561) 312-7404 for more info, pics or to schedule a time to see the car in person. Car can be built to suit your needs here as well. Coyote swap? We got that.

The usual 500 paypal deposit and cash or cahiers check in person to pick up the car,we will do whatever we can to help you with shipping pickup or other concerns. For some reason eBay wont let us load more that 12 photos so IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS BIDDER please contact me for more with specifics of what you would like to see.
