video of this beautiful car belowhttps://youtu.be/Byg_LRYJZbg
This iconic car was pulled from a climate controlled garage where it hibernated from 1973 to 2018. Car was dipped and stripped to bare metal. Then underwent a fastidious nut and bolt rotisserie restoration. Every part on the car is new, N.O.S. or rebuilt. Pictures do not do this car justice. Nothing was spared during the restoration. Undercarriage, looks as shinny and new as the exterior this car.
This beautiful car is finished in what my opinion is the best color combination: Gun metal gray andTorchred interior. The 1957 Thunderbird is considered the prettiest of them all thanks to its somewhat more masculine design,1957 was also the last of the 2-door 2-seaters.Thunderbird sported a restyled appearance front and rear and waslonger by 6.1 inches to accommodate the spare wheel which was back in the trunk. Ford looked to build on the Thunderbird’s strong popularity, which translated in 4 T-Birds being dispatched in 1957 for each Corvette, by giving it a fresh appearance and more power.Ford revised the Thunderbird, providing what would be the last model year of the car's first-generation.For 1957, the front bumper was reshaped, allowing for a larger grill and the rear iconictail-finsand tail lamps were enlarged. On the interior, the instrument panel saw significant updates, with round gauges in the dash designed in a single unit.
