This is just a cool old 1962 Ford Econoline Shorty Van. It is turnkey and ready to have some fun. It would be a perfect Surf Mobile. Throw all of your boards in back and go. It is a lifelong Southern California van that is very solid. It was originally a Pac Bell vehicle. The body is solid. The floorboards and rockers are solid. It has had some repairs on the drip rails about 25 years ago. The engine has been upgraded to a 200 cubic inch six cylinder from a Mustang. While obviously it is still no rocket, it does have considerably more usable power than the original 170 CI engine did. It runs very well. It is a three speed on the tree manual transmission. The clutch and brakes are good. It runs great, has a cool look, and is ready for an adventure. Early Econoline prices have gone through the roof. This is an affordable example that will sell this first time advertised. Clean, clear California title in hand with current 2020 tags. New wheels and tires. It is not perfect by any means. Please be realistic with your expectations.I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Inspections in person are encouraged. Thanks and good luck!
