Up for auction is a 1930 Ford “AA” Dump Truck. It has been in the same family for 40 years. It was restored once in the 1980s but remains largely original.
It has the original “AA” stamped 4-cylinder engine that runs very well. The engine does not smoke or leak anything.
The manual 4 speed transmission shifts smooth. The clutch is perfect. The brakes are very good too. All seven tires are newer and they all match.
The body is solid with driver quality paint. The glass is nice. The gauges, horns, and lights work.
The PTO driven dump body does not appear to be original to truck but is authentic to the 1930s. The dump body works great too.
The interior is nice. The seat is original but it has been recovered with a custom pattern.
