This award-winning 1965 Custom Mustang was nicknamed “Vendetta.” The heart of Vendetta is a Roush Performance 427ci engine with a 351-based, 9.5? deck and a Windsor iron-block and 4-bolt mains. It has a forged-steel crankshaft, forged-steel H-beam connecting rods, forged-aluminum pistons, Roush Performance aluminum CNC-ported cylinder heads, Roush hydraulic-roller camshaft, and 8-stack induction with electric fuel injection. The exhaust is a custom 3? exhaust with coffin mufflers. Vendetta has a Richmond 5-speed manual transmission and a McLeod clutch. The rear end is a Moser 9? that has been narrowed 5? with a limited-slip differential, 3.70 gears, and 33-spline axles. The front suspension is a Scotts Hot Rods standard IFS with Aldan coil-overs, and the rear is a Moser triangulated 4-link with Aldan coil-overs. The wheels are Billet Specialties with the front at 18×8? and 20×10? at the back. Vendetta has a custom interior, and the exterior has extensive custom bodywork mounted on a tubular chassis by Scotts Hot Rods and Palmer Customs. This BEAST needs to be seen to be properly appreciated!
