This 1969 Ford Fairlane 500 has a cool/classic look inside and out. However, they did give it a few well-placed upgrades that make it a more enjoyable driver's classic - especially with the extra power from the V8.
This is from the era where car companies changed their designs every coupe of years to make sure they were quite fresh. So you only had a short time to get your hands on one of the most striking hardtops around. The sixth-gen Fairlane really embodied the muscle car era with its imposing wide front end, sporty kick-up in the rear fender, and pillarless hardtop profile. While you get the right factory readouts, it also has been upgraded with a SunPro tach and a cool blue glow.
Under the hood is the bright blue presentation of proper Ford small block power. This V8 has a tidy look and classic air grabber that will make you want to show it off. But what you'll really enjoy is driving this Fairlane. The motor inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with added power as long tube headers feed a stainless dual exhaust with Flowmasters. It's a strong running package that will make you want to hit the road. That's why it's also nice to have features like the three-speed automatic transmission and a large aluminum radiator.
