Description

1970 Mustang Fastback with a 351 Cleveland BIG BLOCK engine, 4 barrel carburetor. Automatic transmission. Runs and drives great! Interior is very nice and the car overall presents itself as a nice driver quality car as it is or would be a great candidate for a Restomod. The body is straight with only a few small areas that show blemishes. The door data plate is missing but we did run a Marti report (see photos) for the car. The report shows this was originally a 302 V8 car that had that original engine replaced, Floors are solid and the rear quarters have already had repairs done. This car sports all the right era original pieces and look—chin spoiler, hood scoop, styled steel wheels, rear louvres, dual exhaust, and rear wing—combined with the period big block this Mustang also has the power and great sound to match the performance look! The car was originally a green fastback but was repainted white at some time in its past—not Concours paint quality but presentable. The odometer shows just 34,049 miles on it. 1970 Mach 1’s and Boss 302’s values are going through the roof. This Mustang gives you the look, feel, and performance without having to pay the price for a similar condition example of one of those models. This car is being relisted as there was an issue with the initial listing. The car is also advertised locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or request additional photos.

Note: We do want to make sure that the information is correct: The engine in the mustang now is a 351 Cleveland, not a big block. The 351 Cleveland falls somewhere in between the 289/302/351W small block and the 429-460 big blocks. As stated above, the original engine for this particular car was a small block 302 ci engine.
