Description

Up for sale is a 1948 Ford Tudor done the way they used to. You may call it old school with a new twist. The car to begin with was a very solid car, after all, if you start with a rusty car, you have a fixed up rusty car when you are done. The work done was by professionals that knew their business. The paint is professionally done, not a show car, but better than most. It will still win trophies at most shows. The 47 Olds grille is replated and shows no cracks or signs of decay. All chrome is good. The side mouldings have been shortened for the correct 50s look. The car has been lowered in front and back with longer shackles. It rides on Coker wide whitewall radials, and it has the correct boxed fender skirts. The engine has had a $6500.pro rebuild job. An Isky 404 cam has been added, along with two carbs and an aluminum intake. The whole system has had new wiring installed and converted to 12v. along with an alternator. An aluminum radiator, disc brakes,Am-Fm-cd player, and modern headlights have been added for safety and comfort. Gene Winfield custom taillights have been added to complete the transformation to modern cruiser. The interior is covered in white Naugahyde as has been the trunk. All glass has been replaced. The car is a maroon, but shows more red in most photos. If there are more photos you need, or more info, please call Tom at 513-839-1241.I have attempted to describe this car accurately, and if you have something that you want to trade, please do the same. I have priced it reallistically and expect the same. This car is very nice, and I would not be afraid to sell it to a neighbor.
