1965 Mustang

My husband bought this several years ago to restore since he is medically retired from the U.S. Army. He has put thousands into new chrome and interior parts. Last year his injuries became too much for him to handle the rest. Had the car checked by our local mechanic and he said that the engine runs strong and the transmission shifts as it should. It is driveable right now, the brakes need to be bled. It has a bad shimmy, and the mechanic said it was the torque converter. The car is automatic but the clutch pedal is already installed for an easy swap to a manual. The headliner needs to be replaced (if you look closely at the pictures the chrome is not on, but will send the new window chrome with the car. The car is a solid car and head turner, drop a V8 and a standard transmission in it (like my husband wanted) and you have an inexpensive and great looking Mustang. The paint is better than good shape, but would have someone wet sand it and shoot another clear coat. I believe that's about everything, wanted to make sure you knew what you're buying. Also, not sure of exact mileage.
