Description

Purchased from the original owner already with the roll cage shown in photos. Ed Quay Race Cars (Pottstown, PA) Re-engineered andfabricated mini wheel tubs, fuel pump, cell mounting and under car and trunk panels. Trunk and under car panels are powder coated. Interior flooring and cage custom painted. New carpet, seats, belts and gauges. Exterior, started with a survivor quality, always garage kept car. As in countless cars in the past, if the quality of the buildwasn't beyondbelief it was show qualityrenovated. NOS quarter glass installed and many other trim items replaced. Mechanically, the engine started with a Ford RacingAluminum9.500 Block, JE Pistons, Billet Steel Crank and Oliver Rods. TFS High Ports, Victor 351W EFI Intake, 80 # Hour Ford Racing Injectors, Polished Vortech YSI R/H Mount Renegade Blower, custom inlet and outlet pipes. Exhaust is custom front to back. Towed it down south to Kooks and their shop customfabricated a 1 7/8 primary tube 3.5 inch X pipe exhaust (Cost $4600.00 not counting two tow jobs to and from PA and North Carolina).Backing up the engine is a JW Powerglide with Ultra Bell, Case and Brake. 2000 HP capable. My cost on the Transmission- $6500.00. The rear differential is an 8.8 with custom bolt in axles, spool, new 3.55 gears and master bearing kit. Lightweight front disc breaks, coil overs, tubular engine cradle, MoTeC M84 and more. Please look over the photos. I enjoyed the build and considered this a way of getting better at my craft. I'm finally finishing the Dyno Tune- estimated RWHP should be in the 800 range. The drive line should handle twice that HP. The idea was a car that would not break due toinadequate parts.I had an oil leak thatcouldn'tbe sealed. We removed the Canton Pan and installed a similar Moroso Pan, sealed tight now. Of coarse there in no warranty on this car. Our shop welcomes inspections from potential buyers anytime.
2000 Cobra R Mustang for trade would be apossibility. I would ad cash to the deal.
Rolling Chassis optionexists, I can convert it to a stick or install yourdrive line. If purchased as a rolling chassis, price would be around $20,000.00
