I am listing my custom built 1969 Ford F-350 Crew-Cab 4x4 pickup. It was completed on 2011, after a 5 year restoration. I used original crossmember, and 4x4 components from another 69 crew-cab shortbe, and installed them into the original F350 long bed frame. Frame is straigh, and very clea, the ford part numbers are still visable up by the steering box. Frame was boxe, and strengthene, just like factory. The truck features 1979 style power steering bo, and a disc brake Dana 60 axle from a 1976 F-250 High-Boy. A 35 spline Dana 70 axle in the rea, both with 4.10 gear, and all new Brakes. All new U-joint, and bearings were used throughout. The Transmission and transfer case were both cleane, inspecte, and resealed / painted and filled with Mobil 1 Lube.Under the hood is a custom built 428 . It features a .020/.020 Cobra Jet ( 1UB ) Crankshaf, H-Beam rods with ARP2000 rod bolt, and custom 12.3 to 1 JE pistons. Tall Port heads were ported and fitted with custom made 2.125/1.72 Stainless valves with 11/32 stems. hardened seat, and milled. Harland Sharp roller rockers are held in place with Chrome Moly rocker shaft, Billet end supports and spacer, and ARP hardware. The engine features a vintage Holman & Moody Flat Tappet camshaf, with shell lifter, and chrome moly pushrods by Smith Brothers. A port matched Victor intak, and a Quick Fuel 950 carb sit on top. Engine made over 500 hp during break in on the dyn, at only 30 degrees of timing.Makes in the 530-540 rang, with similer torque figures.
The cab was 90% rust fre, with exeption of the front floor pan, which were replaced, and then the entire cab floor was coated in bedline, then painted inside and out with Lunar Green and Wimbledon White Urethane paint. 3 of the doors are origina, passenger front was replaced due to damage. Door jambs were straight and rust-free before painting. My intention was to take this to the truck pull, but later decided that it was too nice to bust up. It features a RAM dual-disc pulling type clutc, that is noisy and not very fun to drive. I would recommend switching to a conventional clutchfor street use. The pulling hitch and weight bar bracket are removeabl, and I can take that off for yo, if you choose so.
This is a very unique and rare truck that gets a lot of attentionI WILL HAVE THIS AT THE CARLISLE TRUCK NATIONALS AUGUST 4-6. (space J7) IF IT BRINGS MY ASKING PRIC, I WILL PULL THIS A, JUST BEING UPFRONT.
A $500 deposit will be required via pay-pa, with the balance in CASH at time of pickup...within 7 days of auction end please. Thanks for looking...feel free to ask questions. Jason 717-552-8810
