1928 Ford Model A Pickup Truck
Description
This '28 Model A pickup was restored 10+ years ago and is largely stock except for 12-volt alternator power; electronic ignition; voltage reducer for the 6-volt Sparton-Worthington horn; 6-blade fan; new carburetor; shortened Pitman arm; 1930-31 steering box; and leakless water pump. Truck is equipped with an Otwell Health Heater and has matching 1928 plates. The seatback has been rebuilt with foam rubber, providing an additional 3-4 inches of legroom. Starter button has been relocated to the steering column. A battery cutout switch is mounted on the panel below the driver's seat. Two passenger seat belts have been installed. Cabin wood is sound and cabin roof does not leak. Wood flooring in the cargo box is in good condition. Windshield wiper is manual. Tires and brakes are in good condition.
Speedometer is working but inaccurate by 10 mph at 45 mph. Odometer reading is believed to be post-restoration.
The truck is driven almost daily on local errands in Northern California.
