This is a 1976 Ford F250 highboy. Complete ground up and frame off restoration. Everything has been touched on this truck. It has a Dana 60 rearend and a Dana 44 front end with a NP205 divorced unit transfer case. A NP 435 4 speed transmission and a Big block ford 460 with a dual friction disc clutch that absolutely won't slip but very streetable.
I have completely gone through this truck from one end to the other everything had been fixed, repaired or replaced. The exhaust is dual 3" from manifolds back through an H-pipe and into turbo flow mufflers and out the back through chrome slash cuts. Its quiet idling and has some real meat to the tone when you are in the throttle, it does not and I repeat does not have any "cackle" whatsoever. The exhaust is fully welded and galvanized and painted with high temp silver.
There is a 2 inch suspension lift a 3" body lift (done the right way) and it sits on 38.5" tires. The engine has been completely rebuilt to stock specifications and the cam is even stock lift.I wanted this truck to be a cruiser and still have the power to play in the mud and snow. The theme I went for on the build was black and white with attitude which I nailed.I put a custom aluminum fan shroud on with an electric fan and hard in the throttle or cruising on hot summer day this thing does not get hot.
The paint is base coat clear coat with white pearl added to the base,I doesn't give it that cadillac cream color but a frosty white when the sun hits it.The dash is painted the same as the outside but with the pearl in the clear. The color is the original ford but with the pearl. The wheels are black powder spokes and 38.5" mudders.Custom made rear light valance with a reverse light override switch for keeping reverse lights on.
New interior rubber floor mat and few aluminum tread plate upgrades inside. New dash cover and vinyl seat if you get things muddy. This truck came without front inner fenders but I have a set for it to keep mud out of fender brace areas. The reason Im selling this is because I have a number of other projects waiting to be done and I decided I'd use this truck as "seed" money for my shop upgrade. I hate to see it go because it runs so well and is nice to cruise, but I have a 48 ford waiting to be built.
Now for the bad:
There is one chip in the paint which I will touch up but I would still point it out.The tires should be upgraded to a radial type and should have a steering stabilizer installed.(but it does not wander all over)
Window tint is probably too dark.............again attitude.
Email me if interested with your phone number and I will call you back.If you'd like to see it, that can be arranged as well. This truck is inside and does not sit out at all. If you win the bid or buy it now contact me and with a 10% down payment it can continue to sit inside for 2-3 weeks until you can come and pick it up.
