This 1963 Ford Country Sedan has been an awesome vacation car for us, but sadly it is not getting the attention that it deserves. We have owned the car for a little over a year and in that time have taken it from our home in the San Francisco Bay Area to LA, Pismo Beach, and Lake Tahoe. Never had an issue, even in 100+ degree weather and our baby in the car seat.
The engine is a small block 302 Ford that appears bone stock (possibly has a mild cam, but I cannot confirm that). The car has sat for the last 4 months and fired up on the first try! Transmission is a top loader 4 speed that shifts great and does not pop out of gear and the clutch has plenty of bite. Rear end is a little high strung for my tastes, but it makes the car a little more lively, my guess is that it is ~ 4.00.
The car is a perfect project car for someone looking for one of these which have become harder to find with all their trim, and glass.
The pros of this car are:
New wheels and tires
New front big brake kit (Wildwood 6 piston calipers)
New Wildwood Master Cylinder
New Wildwood Proportioning Valve
New engine lifters
New Battery
Pertronix ignition
All exterior Trim is there

13inch Grant Steering wheel (and no power steering)
4 on the floor!!!
Bucket Front Seats

This car was a bit of a dream car for me, but I have no time for it any more. It comes with a handful of parts I was going to put on the car, but never got around to installing or sourcing more bits for. These include a set of roller rockers, an aluminum radiation, a pair of electric fans off an ~01 Mercury Cougar and another speedometer and gauge bezel to replace the auto-meter type gauges back to original.
I am happy to answer any and all or your questions about the car. However, I do require that you ask them prior to bidding.
The car is sold as is.
All sales are final.
Clean and Clear title in my name.
Shipping is 100% the responsibility of the buyer, however I am willing to work within reason with shipping companies to arrange a pick up.
Thank you for looking.
