This 1972 Mach I is a true Mach I, not a clone.I have the Marti report that goes with the car.
I acquired the car from previous owner approx. 5 yrs ago.He had begun the restoration and after several thousand dollars, decided it would cost more than he could afford. The 351 4-V Cleveland and C-6 transmission were already rebuilt and I completed all the mechanical and body work.
I totally disassembled the car, inspected every item and repaired or replaced every item, nut, and bolt as necessary. It has new front suspension, new brake components, new drive line, bearings and it has a completely new premium interior, including dash pad.It was repainted to original color and the interior color is as original.Much of the exterior trim parts are original with the exception of the bumpers.
I am retired from employment and a collector of drivable 1950, 60, and 70 sports type cars. This Mach I is being sold to make room for 2 new projects I have acquired. This Mach I was rebuilt by me for my personal use and is not a show car or a trailer queen. It is a strong #2, runs strong, is dependable and gets a lot of attention when I drive it.It has been driven approx. 3,000 miles since I have completed the restoration.
If you are looking for a nice driver that is dependable and affordable, this is about as good as you will find.
