1994 F350 4x4 7.3 IDI Crew Cab Dana 60

Description

I have a 1994 F350 Crew Cab long bed 4x4 with a 7.3 IDInon-turboautomatic. I bought this truck for my son because he really like these trucks but this one needs a little more work than what he is capable of doing and we don't really have the time either, (no, I shouldn't have bought it). I personally drove it home a from about an hour and a half away and it drove pretty well other than the front tires are noisy from never being rotated. The truck didn't smoke any on the way home and I restarted it a couple of days later without any smoke. I was told that the engine had been replaced about 80,000 miles ago but I never received any paperwork on it. The cab has rust through the drivers side floorboard butappearsto be solid everywhere else, the rusted out area could be repaired easily I feel if you are good at that type thing. 4x4 works well as do the brakes. The interior is very rough and dirty. The doors all need new hinges, not all of the locks work and a couple of the windows won't roll down. The bed is rough too. Can the truck be fixed up? Yeah, I think so, it's just more than what we are wanting to do right now. It would need to be down for a while to make some of the repairs and he is wanting something to drive right away, (in this style truck).Would make a great farm truck, it is a complete truck but selling it as a parts truck. I do not want to part it out at this time.
