Description

This is a Mustang GT for sale near Federal Way, WA. Really fun car to drive but needs some TLC. Listing is priced to sell!
This car will not pass smog because it does not have catalytic converters (bought it originally like that), so it is best if the buyer is not in a county that requires emissions checking - but we could do a title transfer so you can pay to have them installed to pass smog if that is not the case.
Has a brand new battery installed. Currently has 137,498mi on it and had a new clutch (and I think new shocks) installed at 121,000mi because of a throw out bearing chirp. Got some new tires at 118,000mi. Hasa quick shifter, and cold air intake installed. It has been slightly lowered (springs) and has a saleen body kit installed on it and has nice cobra rims. No major engine or transmission issues that I know of. It has some kind of custom exhaust system and combined with the 302 engine it really growls and sounds awesome. Clean, non-smoker.
I believe in full disclosure so that the buyer knows everything I know about it and that way we are both happy with the sale (here's everything I can think of that is wrong with it/needs to be fixed):* It has been garaged for some time (was at 118,000mi in 2006) so maybe some rubber things might need replaced* When you put the pedal to the floor it seems to make it knock, may need timing done* No catalytic converters, will not pass smog* AC has never worked for me* There are cosmetic things on the body like a crack in the side skirt and some minor paint crackling in a few places* I recently noticed the light switch might be going out* It has a clean title but when I looked underneath it seemed to have had a minor hit from the drivers side because I noticed some pounded out metal, but nothing I was concerned with when I bought it 12 years ago.* I think it needs some wheel alignment done since it pulls a little if it gets into a road rut* The drivers side door closes a little rough
I need to make room in my garage and considering that the buyer will likely need to address some of the things listed above, I've priced it accordingly to sell easy so this is a really great deal! Especially for someone looking for a cheap fixer-upper.
If you're looking for a really fun sports car, this one is for you. It is a classic that really has some great torque to play with. It is a great car and it really has an awesome sound.
