The second generation Bronco was long awaited by outdoors enthusiasts in the late 70's and was finally released in 1978, quickly becoming a legend. The Ranger XLT packageadded creature comforts such as air conditioning, tilt steering, bucket seats, cruise controland a fully retractable rear window to the off road legend. This 1979 Bronco has recently been rebuilt into a daily driver with a custom 3 inch suspension lift, new interior carpet, driver and passenger racing bucket seats, pioneer sound system, and recent paint. This truck is my south Austin,Texas dream car that ensures a look, smile, wave and most often a yell from bystanders on the street.I hate to let it go, but it's time to let someone else enjoy this beauty.
Workdone in past three months:
-new tie rods (improved steering)
-rebuilt carburetor
-rebuilt AC compressor/converted/charged
-new brake master cylinder
-new brake pads
-new gaskets/seals
-motor for rear window
I have tons of fun pictures of this truck out on the town. Just let me know if you have any questions.
