Comes with 5 correct 1961 Thunderbird hubcaps. THE 1963 SPINNER CAPS ON CAR IN PICTURES ARE NOT INCLUDED !!!!
Here is a beautiful 1961 Thunderbird. It runs and drives great but still needs some restoration. NO RUST !!! Tinted glass....all good. I have only had it about three months but got in over my head and can not finish it. My mind is willing but my body isn't. I have had new lower ball joints and new tires, new fuel pump and new correct stainless steel carb to fuel pump line and filter, front brakes, removed road draft tube and installed 1963 pcv valve set up with new carb spacer, professional carb rebuild, left side coil spring perch and brackets installed.... comes with right side but not installed. Alignment.. Radio works and sounds fine. Has correct antenna. New dash light bulbs. Tranny shifts perfectly. Inside mirror and chrome pillars look new. Exhaust system excellent with NEW MUFFLERS at REAR.. Comes with nice blue dash mat ... not pictured.
more than I can remember. It has been garaged since I have owned it and garaged by previous owners since approx. 2003. New battery earlier this year... It came with a gigantic file of paperwork and receipts from previous elderly owners in Yreka, Ca. (just south of the Oregon border). They had valve job done on it and in the last 20 years has had practically no miles put on it. (documented by receipts) Painted in 2006 but looks like yesterday. Have receipt for $4,000.00 paint job dated 10-13-06>>> Garaged ever since. It was sold used on May 31, 1983 by Crater Lake Ford in Medford, Or. (just north of Oregon border).Documented mileage on May 31, 1983 49,514 (previous to previous owner)
Car is located in Redding, Ca. 96002..... 100 miles south of Oregon border and 150 miles north of Sacramento on interstate 5.

A/C was converted to R-134 by previous owners. I had it charged a couple of months ago but when I changed the fuel pump and laid the compressor aside (still connected, it slowly lost it's charge)... It would freeze you out before that. New sending unit float assembly in fuel tank too. The passenger side bottom side piece of front bumper is bent but comes with perfect re-chromed one. The chrome on this car inside and out is amazing! Lights, heater, radio,wipers, windows, power seat, power steering and brakes.... everything works except clock only sometimes! NO cracks in steering wheel but needs painted. Has original owners manual.

Spare tire is unused and has cover as well as trunk liner installed by previous owners. Has had trunk seal replaced too.

I had plans to detail engine compartment and door jambs and to get reproduction dash pad, carpet and floor mats. (original carpet is surprisingly good for its age). I was thinking black or two tone factory blue color change for the interior.
