Description

Up for auction is my rust free 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX Convertible. I bought this car to keep in my collection, but my shop is full and I don't have the time to give it the love it deserves. Motor trend just released an article listing these as the next cars that will be climbing in value, and this is a fairly nice, unmolested example. The body is overall very clean, but the vehicle is not without flaws. I brought it to Ohio from Alabama in the spring of 2016, and as such, it has never been in snow or salt As pictured, the ignition switch was broken out, and that part of the steering column will need repaired. I do have both the correct ignition and door/trunk keys. There is some light clear coat peeling, as well as light paint chipping on the front bumper, the stereo is missing, and as shown, the lower section of the rear window is taped.
I have used a jumper wire to start the car and confirm operation. It runs very strong, does not smoke, the oil is clean, and there are no internal noises. It has an automatic transmission that feels tight, the only mechanical issue I can find is a very light hiss from the brake booster when the brakes are held for a period of time.
I have represented this car as well as possible, buyers are encouraged to ask questions, and I can provide and additional photos needed, or the vehicle can be viewed in person before bidding.
The car comes with a clear Ohio title in my name. Buyers in the state of Ohio will be subject to paying Ohio sales tax on the full amount of the winning bid.
