1965 Ford F250 Camper Special with Perkins Diesel, project,
Description
1965 Ford F250 Camper Special 2wd. This truck has a Perkins Diesel in it. Now here's the thing. I don't know if it came from the factory like this, or added. By the way the exhaust is welded, it looks added. But the emblem on the right fender is riveted on, kinda like the factory would do it. This was my father's truck we had since the late 80's. The mileage listed for this is what's showing on the speedometer. I don't know if it's original, or if it has turned over. The truck has been sitting, and is rotted out. I can't find the engine numbers, but it appears to be a 6 cylinder Perkins 354 c.i., a manual 4 speed trans, and what looks like a dana 60 rearend. The engine is NOT seized up. It does crank, but I can't get it started. I don't think the fuel pump is working. The doors and hood are missing, floorboards rotted, etc. The truck would need a full restoration. If you are the winning bidder and just want the engine, I will cut it out for you. This truck is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end this auction early if this sells locally. This truck is as-is. Have a clear regular title. Feel free to ask questions, I'll be more than happy to try to answer them. Thank you. I apologize to previous bidders, I overlooked placing a reasonable reserve on this item.
