Description

Up, For Auction...Your dream pickup waiting to happen. This is a very rare 49 Ford Pickup that has the original cab and front end on a rolling original frame. The cab is in good condition for a 66 year old truck an has only a small amount of rust on the lower right rear panel with the floor panels solid (which is very unusual for this old of truck) speedometer cluster is in place as is the seat frame. The doors are solid but do have some rust. The rolling frame is in great shape with no rust through anywhere and just light surface rust. The frame is complete with all front steering mechanicals in place from the steering wheel to the front wheels. Original straight dropped axle on front with steering box and wheel hubs and such all in good order. The rear end is complete with all springs and such. The front fenders and grille are rough but salvageable. The running boards are too far gone to use. What you are paying for is the great rolling frame, rear end, front end and cab....ALL MISSING PARTS ARE AVAILABLE NEW AT REASONABLE PRICES so that you can complete this restoration. I could break this up for original parts and sell them for much more than I could get from this auction but I really would like to see this truck back on the road putting smiles on a lot of faces. No motor or transmission. This will make a great starting point for that truck you have always wanted to build. Please look closely at the photos as what you see is what you get...nothing more nothing less. Sold with Bill Of Sale only but can be tagged in most states with just that. If you need a title you can obtain one with some paperwork through your state DMV.. A deposit of $500 will be due at auction close via PayPal with remainder due in cash or bank transfer within 3 days of auction close. You may pick the truck up at my shop in Hayesville, NC or I will help you obtain a shipper for delivery to your location...Buyer to pay all shipping cost direct to hauler.
