1966 ford Galaxie convertible
Description
1966 Galaxie up for sale. I am the second owner of this wonderful convertible. This car sat in dry storage since 1980 and was just removed several years ago when I purchased it from the original owner and began sorting out the mechanicals. I believe this card to have original mileage on tha I believe this card to have original mileage on it. I doubt they put 130K on it between 67' and 1980. Plus just look at the seats. Before I got it they were perfect. Anyways the engine has been rebuilt and so many new parts and things were done to this car to make it a daily driver. The guest and was replaced, all new seals in the transmission, universal joints, disc brake conversion, will bearings, shocks, rear air shocks, top is in poor condition but is functional. I replaced it with an easy on the top a few years ago and someone slashed the top. Yes it could use some bodywork and a paint job but there is no major rust issues with this car which is really amazing. When I got this car it's still had the tags on the exhaust that the prior owner had installed in the late 70s. It looks like to be two real glass packs of the era and a true dual exhaust. New motor and trans mounts. Eight track player is not included with car. Email me with questions. Runs and drives great. This car is not perfect and needs some TLC but it's all either cosmetic or minor stuff like the door switch to activate the interior light is damaged, and the clock doesn't work. AM radio may work but doubtful. Sold as is. Buyer responsible for shipping.

Fuel gauge doesn't read after 1/2 of the tank of fuelhas been used. The linkage needs to be adjusted on the steering column as the car can pop out of park sometimes. This is not a problem with the transmission. I haven't had time to properly adjust the linkage. Tires have decent tread, top functions but will need to be replaced.
