Description

1985 Ford Mustang Saleen 5.0 Liter T-5 Manual Transmission 90,000 miles. This is not an original Saleen though it would pass for one less the documentation. It is a late 1985 w/ 1986 Fuel Injection.I have owned this car since 2001, in that time there is not one stone unturned on it.I have included a list of repairs and modifications that has been done to the car over the years. The body is whistle clean and straight. It was pained Sonic Blue in 2003 at the Ford dealer I worked at the time. There was no rust repair done as it is a rust free body, only old faded paint and minor door dings. The paint quality is very nice, all door jams are painted as well.Under the hood is still the original medium metallic blue so it’s not noticeable. The underside of the car is as clean as the body. All rockers, floors seams and frame rails are clean.Interior is almost all original and very clean, no rips or tears in the cloth or upholstery. The car runs strong, it has a 1988 long block with many other modifications. No leaks under the car.It drives straight down the road, all steering and suspension has been rebuilt. To my knowledge this is an accident free car, all the panels line up perfect. It has the original Saleen ground effect kit from 1986 and the correct Saleen whale tail spoiler. The car is an eye catcher, gets lots and lots of compliments. It was dyno’d after I completed the engine replacement and it pulled around 330hp.All of the work performed was done by me, I am a licensed Auto Technician and Automotive Teacher.Any and all questions please feel free to ask. This car has been a fun car over the years but my interests have moved else where and I find myself rarely driving it.Below are a list of repairs, not all of them but the majority.

I have also posted a video of the car running at the following link:
