Description

This was a father and sons project that we no longer need or use much. My sons and I rebuilt the engine completely. The engine block was hot tanked, cleaned, with new freeze plugs and cam bearings installed. The block was honed and new rings installed. The engine is standard bore with stock pistons. Stock crank was polished and was used with new rod and main bearings, also has a new high volume oil pump. The heads were deburred and valve ground with new seals. We did install a larger cam and lifters by Crane. The cam is 276 duration and 480 lift. We added headers, 2 1/2 duel exhausts and 2 chamberFlow mastersto give the big FE a great sound. The trans, bell housingwas cleaned and painted Ford Blue. The trans is a factory 3 speed on column but has been changed to a floorshiftier. The clutch, pressure plate, andthrow outbearing are new heavy duty units from Ford Racing. The flywheel isoriginal but was surfaced at Clutch World in Knoxville TN. The rear end is a Dana 60 with 4:10 gears(FactoryOriginal) Other new parts arecarburetor.starter, wiring harness, shifter, The drive train is very strong and runs great. Has always started even in very cold weather. (4 degrees last winter) The body was removed and frame cleaned and painted with frame coat. New bushings were put in trailing arms on the Twin I-beamsuspension. The truck still needs shocks. The truck came from factory very basic with manual steering, manual brakes, no air and even no radio. We have started fixing this old truck up and have done a lot of the hard stuff but it need finished. The truck is a running driving project. The first and last picture is what it looks like now, I do have the trim and badges for it. I know I have left some new parts off the list but fill free to ask any questions you may have.
