I put my heart and soul into making this into a beautiful, modern, sexy, enjoyable, low maintenance, bad-ass machine. The sound and feel of this car is amazing! The reason I'm selling is I'm making a career change and am downsizing. The vision for this car was to make it as functional as possible to enjoy it as much as possible, not the kind of classic car that you take it to a car show once a year and collects dust the rest of the time. This is a one-of-a-kind resto-mod that is absolutelybeautiful. The presence on this car is hard to describe. This is the ultimate head turner. Motivated to sell.
The car was purchased in 2002, itoriginally had 6cylinder. In 2005, Ihad the car fully restored by a professional car restoration company to show quality condition. This car was stripped down to a rotisserie, where every speck of rust was taken off and the frame was re-coated. Most of the sheet-metal was replaced. A 12-point roll bar was welded into the frame (6 points on each side extending to the back bumper in the trunk, underneath the quarter panels, in the door fame, to the front windshield). New black convertible top, brand-new ford racing motor, brand-new 5 speed automatic transmission with overdrive, new 9 inch rear axle, over-sized disc-brakes on all 4 wheels, custom dual exhaust with flow-masters, new sound system, everything under the hood was new.
By upgrading the engine from a 6cylinderto a Ford Racing 302 V8, almost all of the mechanical aspects were replaced.Did not spare any expense on the car and added as many safety features as possible including a 12 point roll bar, fuel cell gas tank, safer bucket seats with headrest, 3 point seat belts, power steering, power brakes, running lights, rack and pinion steering, the works. No accidents.Starts up every time! A true work of art.
Over the past ten years, I've only put a little over 12,500 miles and the car has been garaged since being fully restored so it is still in great shape. No mechanical issues.
