Description

This car will need a restoration but a light one featuring some light body and rust repair, paint and perhaps an engine compartment detail.
Car runs down the road at 65 pretty smooth with a basic tuneup, battery and a blower motor this car can be driven now. Has brand new tires.
This car is wearing it's rare original special order black paint. It's numbers matching on the engine and original miles. Trunk is flawless condition and if not for a few interior defects the interior would be like new. These consist of the typical crack on lower dash below steering whee, a rip that resulted from a burn if some sort on the drivers seat, a small 1/2 inch tear in headliner and the dashpad needs replaced. Other than the interior is basically mint down to the carpet with just a little fading in issues.
Now for the rust, both doors have very minor rust issues on inside bottoms, a 3x3" area on driver fender, a 6x6" area approximately under rear vinyl top and at some point the upper rear quarter panel passenger side had a light dent up high. Not bad can't even feel from inside trunk. Some filler present on outside.
Keep in mind the floor pans,rockers, door jambs, frame, trunk and quarter panels need basically zero rust repair. I will not give this car away being low mileage survivor original triple black but my reserve is very reasonable.

Have photo on my phone of vin on back of engine block showing this is the original 351 cobra jet engine.Carb and air cleaner are the only two things I can find that are not original to car. Even the rear floor mats appear to be original and in like new condition.

This is a factory air car. All air conditioning components are still present and compressor even kicks on. Unsure if system is charged ( doubtful) as blower motor does not work.

Forgot to add that rear bumper is pitting and flaking a little and will probably need re-chromed if somebody wants the car perfect. Front bumper, grill and all other chrome on car is in immaculate shape.

Carpet is only faded in middle some of what you are seeing on floorboards is a light shining on it. Carpet is in good shape I'd either leave as is or dye it. Doesn't need replaced
