This 1923 Ford 3-Door Touring (Phaeton) is now over NINETY (90!) years old, and it doesn't need a thing. It is a drive anywhere, start anytime, and show against the best kind of car!And of course, it is100% steel.

Here are the basics....

  • Fuel Injected Chevrolet V-6 Vortec Motor
  • Automatic (3 speed) T-350 Transmission
  • All Steel Body - widened 2 1/2 - 3 inches, front to back
  • Gorgeous faux leather interior(front and rear)

  • Ready to show and shine.....and DRIVE!

One look at this beauty and you’ll immediately recognize the attention to detail, and the care & craftsmanship that it took to restore this gorgeous resto-rod! Yes, ’23 Ford 3 Door’s are rare enough, butyou mayhave never seen one like this before. a 200 HP fuel injected ’93 Chevrolet VORTEC V-6 engine, this classic T is not just to look at....it's made to DRIVE!Built bya Father/Son team in the early 2000's..... of which one was a top restorer at anationally recognized North/Eastern Rod shop. Now, thislabor of love can be yours.

The original metal over wood frame has been painstakingly replaced with an all steel frame. The body is 100% STEEL,witha custom made hood, radiator shell, hood sides, wheel wells, trunk, and more. All the rear body seams have been filled. The body has been flawlessly widened by 2.5” (in-distinguishable!), and the windshield was chopped 3”. The three doors open with modern push-button ease - and close with a Mercedes quality 'click'! She is painted with gorgeous Brandy Wine metallic BC/CC (base-coat clear-coat) paint borrowed from the ’99 Lexus palate. The tancanvas custom top is easily removable.... or you can use with the ‘Isinglass’ side curtains for an enclosed trip. The interior is impeccably stitched in a complimentary 2-tone color. The chrome bezel custom gauges, Lokar floor shifter, emergency brake, illuminated gear indicator, Ididit polished aluminum tilt steering column and much more complement this refined interior.

The mechanics of this Model Tare just as impressive as the rest of the build! With 200HP VORTEC V-6 and Turbo 350 automatic, she isready to please. The engine has Sanderson headers and ceramic coated dual exhaust. She has all new wiring, theengine computer, and anOptima battery all carefully tucked under the front seat. You'll findAlden coil overs on the front (with a dropped axle) and rear both . She is cooled by a customWalker radiator with an electric cooling fan. And she sports aPete & Jakes 4-bar front and rear suspension, with a custom made torsion bar in the rear.Goodyear 255-15(rear) and 195-15 (front) tires wrap theWheel Vintique wirewheels.Of course front disc and rear drum brakes, with stainless steel brake lines to stop her, and her custom stainless steel gas tank was made by Rock Valley Custom.

There is so much more to see and tell. This is an impressive vehicle and is ready to be shown and enjoyed! (this information as provided by the builder, as I purchased the car finished in 2006 or 2007). What I can add is this is an incredible quality build.....onethat would cost 2X my reserve to duplicate. You can drive the car anywhere, anytime, with confidence. It can sit for months, and start up without touching anything but the key! In fact, it has accumulated nearly 10,000 miles since built, although the condition reflects more like 500 miles! It is babied, inside and out! Another nice feature is that the matching trunk is not permanently mounted, but rather mounted via a small trailer receiver hitch, so if you prefer to pull a trailer, you're ready! And how about a reserve UNDER 35K!!!

HISTORY: I purchased this carin 2007 from awell regardedMichigandealer. They were selling it for the originalbuilder, whohadputover 9,000babied miles on itin only afew years....showing it at anumber of East Coast shows. The car was certainlybuilt to be driven, and it was! Unfortunately, I never had the time to give her the same courtesy..... so this sweet RestoRodis virtuallyUNKNOWN here on the West Coast! I have only taken to 3-4 small local shows, and driven it in a few parades. It's never been to a Good-Guys or NSRA show west of the Rockies......but it could easilydrive to any one of them if you wanted. The reality is, I have 18 cars, and I've come to accept that it istime tothin theherd and simplify life. And it's time for someone else to enjoy her and show her off.
