Description

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRADES. The only exception is possibly for an M1009 CUCV Blazer.
Truck is in good shape, runs well and has been a reliable truck. It's got the 7.3 diesel engine. Please note, this IS NOT the Powerstroke diesel. That wasn't offered until 1995. It is also a non-turbo engine.
The truck is clean and mechanically sound. Runs strong. Paint is faded and has scuffs and scrapes here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 23-year-old truck. Brand new master cylinder has been installed, all routine maintenance has been kept up with as long as I've had it and seems to have been by the previous owner.
Automatic transmission shifts fine, all gears work.
Odometer reading is 121,000 miles and some change. Aside from the fuel gauge for the front tank as noted below, all lights, gauges and switches work as they should. It looks as if the truck may have had a fifth wheel hitch at one time, as there appears to be mounting points for it in the bed.
The truck does have a few issues:
1. Rust around both rear fender areas.
2. White scuff marks/ paint transfer on rear, driver's fender area from brushing the side of a garage when backing up. No body damage, just scuffs and white streaks.
3. The bed has two small areas that appear to have had patches welded in. Doesn't affect use of the bed, however, they do have small rusted areas. See photos for details.
4. Rear exhaust pipe hanger needs to be replaced. The rubber part broke. Currently, the exhaust pipe in that area is suspended/ held up by a chain.
5. Sending unit for the front fuel tank needs to be replaced. Fuel level reading is not reliable or accurate. I just always used the front tank first and went by mileage, then shifted to rear tank. Fuel reading for rear tank works just fine.
6. When the engine is cold, truck takes a little while to start. It cranks for a while before starting. Sometimes it starts right away, runs for a few seconds and then dies. Afterward, it cranks for awhile before starting. Other times, it just cranks for awhile before starting. Either way, it always starts. This seems to be a common issue with the 7.3 diesel of this era and it's an O-ring that needs replacing. Truck runs fine otherwise and other than extended cranking needed at initial start up, truck always starts up immediately and runs great.
NOTE: The pintle hitch and the items in the bed ARE NOT included in the sale.
