Description

It sure looks like Streetside Classics is the place to shop for clean early Broncos. Our latest is this ultra-clean red and white 4x4 with a 302, which shows well and drives even better. With these trucks finally getting the recognition fans have always known they deserve, now is the time to put one in your garage, because prices are only going up from here.Sometimes there's nothing like the high-impact visibility of a red vehicle, and there's no doubt that some trucks wear it better than others. This Bronco, which has a pretty authentic-looking paint job, is one of those vehicles that is impossible to ignore. Rust-free, extremely straight, and with a few neat details, this Bronco delivers all the goodness of the original design but will make onlookers take a few extra moments to take it all in. The paint is really quite good, with just the right look so you won't mind heading into the rough stuff with it because it can take it. Note the traditional off-white grille, the neat fit of the doors, and the contrasting off-white hardtop, all of which give this Bronco a spotless profile that seems to come right out of the 1960s. Look a little closer and you'll see the cool '302' emblems on the front fenders, which aren't standard equipment but are a nice addition that hints at what's in store inside. There are also nice chrome bumpers and a hitch out back in case you need your Bronco to work a bit on weekends.Early Mustang fans are always comfortable in the Bronco interior, thanks to twin buckets that are similar, but not quite identical to the Mustang units. Nicely upholstered in the original style and materials, it looks bright and fresh inside. Part of that look is the fresh red carpets and rubber floor mats and plain white door panels. Have a look at the door frames and sills, where there's no sign of rust. The seats in their off white color are in very good shape with no sign of any rips or tears, and you have to admit that they seem appropriate in this vintage off-roader. That's the original wheel with an oversized wrapper on it, so it looks a little updated, and don't be fooled by that T-handle shifter, which is for the 4x4 system, with the 3-speed manual accessible through the column shifter. For entertainment, there's an AM/FM/CD stereo under the dash with a pair of big speakers in the cargo area. Under the hood, there's a 302 cubic inch V8, looking right at home with its off-road-rated air cleaner, designed for dusty and wet conditions. The 302 was a late addition to the Bronco lineup, but it transformed the little truck, giving it the soul of a muscle car and effortless performance on and off road. Ford Blue paint looks great against the red paint and satin black engine bay, and proper " Ford" valve covers have been used. It's not perfect and shiny, but it's got all the factory hardware in place, from the 2-barrel carburetor to cast iron exhaust manifolds. A heavy-duty radiator doesn't mind slow going and it has a dual reservoir master cylinder for safety. The chassis is solid and ready for adventure, complete with a throaty single exhaust system and a pair of heavy-duty axles, as well as a fresh set of James Duff off-road shocks. Late-model Bronco wheels carry 235/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler radials. If you've been wishing for an early Bronco, don't miss this opportunity for one of the nicest we've seen. Call today!
