Up for your consideration is this eye catching iconic '56 Ford F100 with all the right upgrades and mods to make it a blast to drive and enjoy while maintaining that classic F100 Hot Rod look. A lot of time, energy, and money has gone into this truck from bumper to bumper over the years. The 351 Windsor runs strong and smooth with no knocks, pings, or smoke. The custom dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers sound awesome, deep and throaty but not obnoxious. Ijust had the front end aligned last week and she runs straight and smoothdown the road. The Volare front-end checked out great, every thing is tight and in great shape. The C6 Automatic Transmission shifts smooth like it should. The custom forward-tilt hood conversion makes engine access easy. The Eagle Alloy Wheels paired with the 235/75R15 Cooper tires are ingreat shape and add to the perfect stance this truck has.
The body is all original Ford steel with no rust or rot. No body filler stuffed into holes on this one .... all metal, inside and out, is in great shape andsolidincluding the floors, inner fenders, and cab corners. The paint showsreally well but is on the better end of novice quality. There aren't any runs to speak of and the paint was laid on evenly and shinesbeautiful as seen in the photos. There is a bit of overspray here and there (mostly undercarriage areas) that with a little time and elbow grease could be easily cleaned up. I share that in the spirit of full disclosure but in my opinion does not take away from how pretty this truck is and you only see it ifyou're really looking for it. All glass is in great shape and window cranks and door handles work as they should. No dings, dents, or "bumps" .... body is clean and straight. Body lines are really nice and doors shut smooth and flush.
This F100, in myopinion, has basically every significantconversion you'd want to make to one of these to make it a joy to drive .... power steering, front power disc brakes, beefy FORD V8 (not a Chevy 350 Crate motor! ... Don't get me wrong, 350 Crates are great motors and a lot of folks put them in these old Fords, but I prefer keeping body and drivetrain in the same family.) Continuing on ... professionally upgraded comfortable interior, AM/FM Stereo with CD player, floor shift C6 Automatic mated to the Ford 9" Rear End, HEI Ignition (fires right up), functionalgauges and Sun Tachometer, relocated fuel tank (safer and no more gas fumesin the cab),beautiful oak wood bed, tilt steering column with "tilt-away" feature making getting in and out easy, Edelbrock 4bbl Carb, heater works great, etc .... A lot of thought and work went into this truck to make it great. It's a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere.
Housekeeping:Please ask any questions before bidding. If you're a serious buyer and you'dlike to seeadditional photos of a particular area(s) ofthe truck I can email those to you upon request. Simply email me and let me know what you want to see. Please have funds in place before bidding. Shipping is theresponsibility of the buyer, but I'mhappy to help on my end to make sure all goes smooth with your transport. I recommend having the truck shipped in a closed trailer considering the time of year and the weather. I'm also available to talk with serious buyers on the phone. Email me your number and I can give you a call. I know I will be asked sooner or later if I would endthe auction early on amutually good/solid offer .... yes, I'm open to that. Email me what you have in mind and we can go from there. Please, NO LOWBALLERS, that approach only wastes your time and mine. Comparatively speaking, Reserve is set very fair for what the truck is and what's outthere. It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway, truck is sold as is ... I'm not a dealer and don't offer any type of warranty or guarantees. I do my best to describe the truck completely and accurately to the best of my knowledge and experience. My 100% feedback and the years I've been oneBay should show that I do my best to make every transaction a great one for everyone involved. This will be a great buy for the new owner as well as a great investment. All the hard work and expense has already been invested. This is a turn-key classic that you can drive, show, and enjoyimmediately.
Good Luck andthanks for looking!
