VIN # 7T03A180239. Per VIN #: "7" 1967 Ford Mustan, "T" built at Metuchen NJ, "03" Convertibl, "A" 289-4V, "80239" vehicle schedule for build at Metuchen. Per warranty plate: "76A" Mustang Convertible, "K" Nightmist Blue Paint,"B"Blue Standard bucket seats, "09A" scheduled for build January 9, 1967, "13" New York orderingdistrict, "1" 3.00 standard axle ratio, "5" four speed manual transmission.Everything is correct except the repaint, and possibly a replaced1967 manufactured engine. Engine is stamped ""7Cxx" on front of block near distributor, which indicates aMarch 1967 engine build. There is no engine number plate attached and the engine has a two barrel carb mounted.(2C) This carstarts and drivesfine. Thefollowing has been replaced with new parts; new battery & cables, new starter solenoid,gas tank was removed, & cleaned out, new fuel gauge sending unit, new fuel filters, carb was overhauled,new brake master cylinder, newfront wheel cylinders and shoes, new rear wheel cylinders and shoes. Car has good non-cracked glass all around, the convertible top frame and hydraulics are all there, It needs a top, the interior seats,&panels are there, the trim is there, the instrument cluster, heater cluster & ingnition sitch with keys are there. The car is a restoration project. It has a large amount of rust and will need new floor pans, new torque boxes, new heater boxes,new B pillars, and various other sheet metal repair. NPD Mustang Parts sells ALL the panels you need, the estimate I put together says the cost on sheet metal will be around $1500.The engine is strong with 60-65 PSI oil pressure at cruise and 20-25 PSI at idle, and has good compression and does not smoke.
