You are viewing a 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 R code 428 4V CJ Ram Air, 4spd close ratio, 11,324 original miles, 3.50 traction -lock axle ratio, front power disc brakes, ps, tachometer. This car started its life in Pittsburgh, PA in 1970 getting delivered from Forest Hills Motor Company to its original owner Lawrence Ingram. Lawrence owned the vehicle until 1979, then selling the car to Mr. King on 9/28/1979 of which the miles were documented at 9,790. Mr. King did not drive the car very much only driving 192 miles on the car. In 1983 the vehicle was serviced at Jackman's Texaco Service in Dry tavern, PA then pit in storage until I came across the car in April of 2009 with the car reading 9,982 miles on the odometer. My wife and I drove the car 1,342 we are the third owners of the car. There has been service repairs made to this car (tires, brakes, exhaust, hoses, battery, etc) but the basis of this car is as it was in 1970. This Mach 1 is a true survivor that is still in great condition.
This car is still retaining its original interior which is in remarkable condition with little to no wear marks. The car was meticulously cared for and always garage kept.
The car is mechanical in excellent condition with no issues to speak of. The car starts up easily, driving very well, and pull strong through all the gears. It is a true time capsule.

This Mustang is documented as a true Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet by the original Deluxe Marti Report. This car was order with the very rare white shaker stripe package. Other options the R- Code 428 Cobra Jet engine, 4-speed transmission, 3.50 traction lok rear end, tachometer, rim blow steering wheel, tilt away steering wheel, Hurst Shifter, Magnum 500 wheels, Firestone Wide Oval tires.
