1966 Ford Fairlane GT S Code Ex Drag Car
Description
I have this 95 % rust free Fairlane GT ex-drag car that has not been butchered up. The car is from East TN. This is the way I bought it. It has some modifications to carry on or be changed back to original. The car is a roller chassis with clear TN title. It has Crites Fiberglass 427 hood. All the trim was taken off and tagged. The car was being prepped for body paint. The 4 link N case rear end has 4:56 gears and Moser axles and has been rebuilt. The car is sub framed and is solid. The chassis work is old school looking but is very function-able. The previous owner had purchased all new front front suspension with disk brakes and had installed to make roller. The interior is has was when found. There is an 8 point roll cage in it and look decent. This could easy be removed has who ever built it did it right and did not butcher body. The drivers floor pan is cut up and I would guess for different transmissions. The 4 speed clutch pedals are still intact. There is a picture of trim tag and I decoded has GT 4 speed car. I believe it was black with red interior and if someone else decodes different let us all know. I have no seats other that racing seat sitting in car. All the trim is there and all parts are included, even a fuel cell.
I own a restoration shop and I am a Fairlane guy. These cars are hard to find rust free and this car will save much expense on body work and repair. There is also a 428 C code block, 428 IU crank, Police interceptor intake, rods and miscellaneous parts I would sell with car. No transmission. What you see is what you get. Any work you wanted performed to make you a sweet 66 Fairlane GT can be handle by my company. I am part owner of large restoration shop and got this car knowing a rust free fairlane is hard to come by. This is the lowest price I will accept. I only trade up and not looking for project cars. 931-881-8351
