ThunderBird, Ford, 1955 Convertible

For sale is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird for restoration. V8, automatic, p/b, p/w, radio. The frame, firewall, and fender wells have already been cleaned and painted. The body, floors, rocker panels, rear wheel wells, truink are in nice condition. The floors have some surface rust, but are solid and no holes. The dashboard is very nice. The dash pad is clean and smooth. The speedometer face and globe are nice, no cracks or fading. The engine was last run about 2 years ago. The left front fender has some bondo in it, but the fender does look straight. The car does need total restoration, paint, new interior, wiring, etc. The bumpers are not chrome, but are painted. The front bumper guards and inserts are made of "cast" and are very heavy. The cast guards are rare and not made by Ford. The car is probably about 90% complete. I have several boxes of parts that were taken off of the car in preperation for a total restoration. Unfortunately the former owner passed away before he could complete his dream. This car is an excellent car for restoration. It does NOT have the usual rust,IE. floors, rocker panels, around the rear wheel wells, etc. It comes with the hard top only. The hard top is in nice condition. The glass and trim is all there. It does need a new headliner. The fender skirts appear to be after market. They have new weather stripping and new staples and are not painted. The car is being sold "AS-IS, no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I don't have the time or resources to restore this car. I already have two projects going and only have a two car garage. So something has to go. I'm not forced to sell the car, so don't even think about a low ball offer. I have tried to describe the car as well and as honestly as I can. LOOK at the pictures.
